Ready to Stay Ahead of the Next Pest Problem?
Whether you’re dealing with pest activity now or want ongoing protection, call, text, or send us a few details below. We’ll explain what service makes sense for your home.
Pest activity around a Long Island home changes with the seasons. Ants become more active during warmer weather, crickets and spiders move around as conditions shift, and occasional invaders look for shelter when temperatures fall.
The EM Home Protection Program starts with the activity we find. Homes with active covered pests are generally serviced monthly for the first two to three months. Once the activity is under control, service moves to quarterly pest control focused on maintaining the progress and addressing seasonal activity.
You shouldn’t have to wait for ants, spiders, or other household pests to become a bigger problem before doing something about them. The EM Home Protection Program covers many of the crawling and occasional pests that commonly show up in Long Island homes.
Also covered: centipedes, millipedes, earwigs, silverfish, sow bugs, pill bugs, and other listed occasional invaders.
Pest activity can change between visits, so our technicians don’t automatically treat the same places every time. We check what has changed, ask what you have noticed, and adjust the service around the activity and conditions we find.

We look for pest evidence, entry points, nesting areas, moisture, and other conditions that may be contributing to the problem.

Treatment may focus on the exterior, interior, or both. The products and treatment areas depend on the pest and where activity is occurring.

If we notice an opening, moisture problem, sanitation concern, or another condition that could keep attracting pests, we’ll point it out and explain what you can do about it.

If you notice covered pest activity between scheduled services, give us a call. We’ll return to inspect what’s happening and treat the affected area at no additional charge.

Homes with active covered pest problems are generally serviced monthly until the activity is under control. This often takes two to three months, but monthly service can continue longer when needed. Once the problem is stable, service moves to quarterly protection. A home without an active infestation may be able to begin with quarterly service.
No. Rodents, termites, bed bugs, mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, stinging insects, and carpenter bees require different treatments. These services are handled separately and may be added when appropriate.
Yes. If a covered pest shows up between scheduled services, contact us and we’ll return to address the activity.
Not every pest problem requires ongoing service. A one-time treatment may be appropriate for an isolated issue. Recurring pest control may make more sense when activity returns, several pests appear throughout the year, or you want covered service calls between scheduled visits.
Not necessarily. Interior treatment is provided when covered pest activity or conditions inside the home require attention. When there is no interior activity, the service may focus on the exterior areas where pests are likely to enter.
No. The EM Home Protection Program is month-to-month. We’ll explain the service, frequency, and pricing before you enroll.
Month-to-month means you are not locked into a year-long service contract. Your Home Protection service continues until you choose to cancel it. It describes your service agreement—not how often we visit. Depending on the pest activity, visits may begin monthly and later move to quarterly.
If you decide to cancel, contact our office before your next scheduled service.
